Setkání k dvaceti letům českého členství v Evropské jižní observatoři. Ohlédneme se za tím, co členství přineslo české vědě a průmyslu, a podíváme se na další krok: stavbu přístrojů, počínaje spektrografem ANDES pro dalekohled ELT.A meeting marking twenty years of Czech membership in the European Southern Observatory. We look back at what membership has brought Czech science and industry, and ahead to the next step: building instruments, starting with the ANDES spectrograph for the ELT.

Čeští astronomové pozorují na nejlepších dalekohledech světa. České firmy dodávaly součásti pro přístroje na Paranalu a pro ALMA.Czech astronomers observe with the world’s best telescopes. Czech companies have supplied components for instruments at Paranal and for ALMA.

ANDES na ELTANDES on the ELT

První oficiální česká účast na stavbě přístroje ESO: věda, univerzity a český průmysl společně. ANDES-CZ zatím není členem konsorcia ANDES a dohoda není uzavřena.The first official Czech participation in building an ESO instrument: science, universities and Czech industry together. ANDES-CZ is not yet a member of the ANDES consortium and no agreement has been concluded.
